Vincent Gallo - When (2001)

Vincent Gallo
When (2001, Warp Records)

"When is a gorgeous lot of love sick lullaby's courtesy of one of the more polarizing creative minds of our time. Owning over 30,000 LP's and one of the largest collections of musical and recording equipment in the world, Gallo's obvious love for music is apparent within these songs. His voice is like a tormented Chet Baker, while the instrumentation floats just as delicately in back. A truly haunted and alluring record." - DD
