This is such a beautiful tape. Mark McGuire (Emeralds) is probably one of my favourite people in music these days. There is a lot of his work that I'm not a fan of at all (his acoustic recordings for example) but there are some moments of decided brilliance. This limited edition C20, self-released, is one of those moments. Stunning washes of tranquil motion, guiding one through light and matter into outer regions not yet defined. Whoaaaa maaan...
