Viva La Düsseldorf! Featuring Klaus Dinger (Kraftwerk/Neu!) as well as occasional Neu! contributors Thomas Dinger and Hans Lampe, La Düsseldorf are somewhat hard to define really. They've got all of the pulse and vigor of Neu! and Kraftwerk (obviously) combined with the pop aesthetic and hook of an Eno-era Roxy Music? I like the sound of that. I find Viva to be a more poppier excursion then their self-titled debut, though perhaps unjustly. Regardless, it's very catchy and very good and if you like anything about any of the bands I've mentioned then grab it please! A superb album by a superb band! Enjoy.
